Three-Dimensional Dreamcatchers
The three-dimensional dreamcatchers are made with all natural materials and semi-precious stones. The teepee at the center represents the
Northern Plains people, their home. The buffalo bone beads
and deerhide represent the animal that sacrificed itself and
its family to the people, for their survival. The feathers
represent the connection to Ma'heo God. The beads and
stones represent the earth, our mother.

"I Smoked the Peace Pipe with the White Man"
Denver Horn, a Native artist, touched on the heart of the poverty, hunger, and frustration of his people in this painting. Living on the reservation, the Cheyenne watched the wealth of mainstream America while they ate commodity food and dreamt of their past free lives.
